Q&A
Frequently Asked Questions- Can beginners join?
-
Yes—beginners are welcome.
Our professional guide will carefully teach you the basics, from how to use the tackle to how to fish.
Wakasagi fishing doesn’t require exceptional strength, so many guests—including women and first-timers—enjoy catching plenty once they get the hang of it.
- What should I wear?
-
We provide free rental winter gear as a set (cold-weather wear, insulated boots, gloves, and a cap).
Since this is a winter tour, please come dressed warmly and consider bringing extra clothing just in case.
- Do I need to bring anything?
-
You can join with almost nothing in hand, but if you plan to use a hot spring, please bring a change of clothes and a towel.
Food and drinks are allowed inside the tent, so please prepare anything you need.
- How do I make a reservation?
-
Please book using the application form on our official LINE account.
If you apply via Jalan to use points, we’ll contact you through the reply form on Jalan or via SMS to your mobile phone.
- What happens in bad weather?
-
If severe weather is clearly expected, we may switch to an alternative tour such as the Sunagawa Oasis Park “Wakasagi Gourmet Tour” introduced on our Instagram.
If we determine that switching is not possible, we will cancel the tour the day before.
